President Day offers a variety of workshops aimed at better informing others about the historical and modern-day realities of the Tahltan Nation. This could be tailored to discussing Tahltan Nation’s economic development history, processes and best practices, or simply a cultural sensitivity session focused on Tahltan cultural practices and distinct community dynamics.
Chad prides himself on knowing more Tahltan people and having access to more of his people on his social media platforms than any other individual. This comes from living amongst the Tahltan people and working alongside them in his younger years, followed up by a decade of serving the Tahltan Nation as the President of the Tahltan Central Government. During his time in politics, he held annual meetings with 16+ Tahltan urban and local communities for several years and heard feedback, both good and bad, from several hundred Tahltan people. Throughout Chad’s travels in his work and personal life, even while in Australia, Europe and Asia, he has taken the time to meet with Tahltan people to learn their story, meet their families and better understand their hopes for the future.

Workshops can vary from half day (3 to 4 hours) sessions to two days (12 to 14 hours) in length. Thadu Consulting Corporation wants to work with clients to tailor these sessions so they can be meaningful and useful for all those in attendance. President Day holds a Bachelor of Arts in Native Studies and Political Science (University of Alberta) and does an excellent job explaining the Tahltan Nation’s distinct context amongst shared Indigenous challenges with the Indian Act, Aboriginal Rights and Title, and reconciliation efforts in British Columbia and throughout Canada.
